My name is Marlene G. Vina.  I was born in Ciego de Avila, Cuba where I received most of my education up to my junior year of college.  In 1988, I decided to immigrate to the U.S. in pursuit of freedom.  I  lived and worked in Naples, Florida for 15 years, where I had my to marvelous children; Alice and Angel.  Alice is now 18 years old and is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Angel is 16 years old and a junior at North Henderson High School.

Seven years ago, we came to Hendersonville for a family vacation and we fell in love with the kind people and the Blue Ridge Mountains.  So, we decided to move to Lake Lure.  Soon after the move, I got my Real Estate Broker License and I have been working in the real estate business for almost three years.

I also assist my husband with our business: Brotherstone LLC, Custom Marble and Granite Fabrication.  I help in the office and with sales.

I believe that hard work and discipline paired with faith and consistency is not only the key for success but also the only way to master excellence in whatever we choose to do in life.
